Favourite pieces - Rhinestone Necklace

Of course, the fact that I got the necklace from my mother makes it special already.
My mom used to have a big jewellery box, lined with red velvet, filled with a mix of many styles - 70s earrings, 50s watches, delicate gold ring, bold silver pendants. This necklace is shiny, sparkly and beautiful, I already fell in love with it as a young girl (pre-teenage already). Being generous and carefree, she gave it to me and I was always looking after it as if it was a really precious pieces (maybe it even is).
She got it on a fleamarket in Amsterdam in the late 60s, but it might be some kind of Art-Deco? I don’t know. It still sparkles in these rainbow-colors that I never find in the usual rhinestone-jewellery, plus it look great with my heathergrey sweaterdress.

Back to brass.

…Animal-jewellery is big these days, my favourite pieces are made of brass by manufacters Sakdidet Road. It’s raw and cute at the same time, reminds me of fairytales and the magic forest.
The contact adress is in Thailand, the mail danish - what might be the origin of these? Anyway, they look lovely!

I found my bird at WoodWood/Berlin.
